Mother's Day at Church
Enjoyed a great mother's day at church with Dr. Drigg's speaking to over 200 in attendance. This is also my mother's birthday. She is 84 this year...and when she was born it was also on the same day at mother's day.

Jackson on Graduation Sunday was honored along with all the seniors by Pastor and Bro Trey for this monumental occasion.

Helicopter Egg Drop at New Life
Had a very successful day at our church with a free pancake breakfast and then 5,000 eggs dropped from a helicopter with another 3,000 eggs on the ground. We have an estimated 1,000 people joined us for this event with around 500 children. Great day for everyone.

I enjoy minimal editing from jpegs for church shots as the fuji film simulations work so well.

Fuji Colors are easy on the soul
I switched from Canon to Fuji in 2016 and since that time I'm still learning how wonderful each of their camera are... but one thing that is the same for each camera is the way Fuji handles the color produced by their cameras.

Grain should often be embraced
Removing noise which is digital grain from images is done on almost every image you see online. There are software packages dedicated to removing noice...but when you are trying to replicate a film stock...like I am here with a Fuji X Weekly receipe for Kodak Tri-X you want

I am enjoying shooting B/W on my X-T5 with the 33mm 1.4f lens. With Pastor wearing a white shirt it pops on the image to draw attention to it.

Seven young people are graduating from our local church and with graduations come a wonderful service and message for each of them

Good Sunday
Part of having a wedding or funeral is that often its tied to having a guest speaker at your church, hey just reporting the facts here :-) It was good to hear an old friend of our church and to see his family.

It's a lot of fun to mix things up for taking images at church. We are blessed to now have multiple people taking pictures for social media so that frees me up to try different things and supplement the team if they need some extra prints. Fuji colors
